Frequently asked questions
What is the REA and why does it matter?
The REA (Register of Accredited Companies) certifies that a firm meets the requirements of Law 32/2006 regulating subcontracting in construction. Red Reformas is registered under number 12/28/0115178, which you can verify in the Ministry of Labour’s public lookup.
What liability insurance do you hold?
We hold civil liability insurance of up to €300,000 per claim, protecting you as promoter against any incident during the works.
Will you provide tax and Social Security certificates?
Yes. We hand them over at the start and end of the works, for Red Reformas and any subcontractors. It is your best protection against liability being passed on to you.
What does the quote look like?
Fixed, itemised, with materials and measurements specified. No small print and no surprises. And we reply within two hours.
Do you match or beat competitors’ quotes?
Yes, through our lowest-price guarantee: we beat any quote that itemises materials and measurements and comes from a REA-registered company with no tax or Social Security debts and €300,000 liability insurance.
Do you handle permits and certifying installations?
Yes. We carry out works within regulations, certify and legalise installations, and manage permits and technical projects.
Do you make bespoke furniture?
Yes. We have run our own carpentry workshop in the Sierra de Gredos since 2019, with cabinetmakers of over 30 years’ experience.
